The following excerpt on ‘Weather Modification” is courtesy of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration: In the late 1940’s and 1950’s many deemed “the deliberate or the inadvertent alteration of atmospheric conditions by human activity”, also known as weather modification, as a promising science of the future. Currently, the most common form of weather modification is cloud seeding, which increases rain or snow, usually for the purpose of increasing the local water supply. Weather modification can also have the goal of preventing damaging weather, such as hail or hurricanes, from occurring.

According to Geoengineeringwatch.org – in 2014 the U.S. Air Force’s Deputy Assistant Secretary (David Walker) for science, technology and engineering had given his reasons for no longer funding HAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) in Gakona, Alaska. “We’re moving on to other ways of managing the ionosphere, which the HAARP was really designed to do,” he said. “To inject energy into the ionosphere to be able to actually control it. But that work has been completed.”
Weather Weapons?
“Weather is Super Weapon,” pursuant to the reported statements by US Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen, said on 28 April 1997 at the Conference on Terrorism, Weapons of Mass Destruction, and U.S. Strategy, University of Georgia, while discussing the dangers of false threats, “Others are engaging even in an eco-type of terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves.”

Conspiracy Theorist Blame Turkey’s Earthquake on…
Turkey’s Minister of Interior Suleyman Soylu argues with opposition MPs during budget negotiations in parliament on 10 December 2022 (AFP)
On February 3, 2023 – MiddleEastEye.net reported Turkey’s interior minister railed against the US ambassador to Ankara on Friday, telling him to take his “dirty hands off of Turkey”.
Suleyman Soylu, an ardent critic of the United States, whom he blames for the 2016 military coup attempt, has been hitting out at Washington since they issued a travel warning to their citizens of increased risk of attacks in Turkey last week.
According to MSN.com on February 7, 2023 – Ariana Baio is credited with writing, “Fringe conspiracy theorists are sure there is a more sinister reason behind the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria – and they’re blaming the US government.”
On social media, several people have proposed evidence-free theories that the government caused the 7.8-magnitude quake with a device known as HAARP.
There were 50,783 deaths, 297 missing and 107,204 injured across 11 of the 17 affected provinces of Turkey. At least 15.73 million people and 4 million buildings were affected. About 345,000 apartments were destroyed on February 5, 2023.
